πŸ€– Anti-Cheat

πŸ›‘οΈ Anti-Cheat Checks #

Our anti-cheat system actively monitors player behavior and data. If abnormal behavior or data is detected, the player will be punished automatically.

**Watch out for false positives!** These systems are never 100% accurate. Always verify using spectator mode before punishing someone. Also consider player ping and server performance. If you're unsure, ask other staff members!

How do anti-cheat punishments work? #

When a player is detected by the anti-cheat, they are banned for 5 seconds. However, if a player is punished by the anti-cheat a total of 7 times within 20 minutes, they will be permanently banned for hard_cheating.

What does an anti-cheat ban look like? #

Here’s how an in-game anti-cheat ban looks:

Anti-cheat ban message

The ban is applied by the console (the server) and the reason will include the detection and type. In this case, the detection is “Speed” and the type is “C”. As moderators, the detection (“Speed” here) is the key clue for what to look for when spectating the player.

Anti-cheat punishments are also posted in the Discord punishments channel.

Common detection types #

Below is a list of common detections our anti-cheat can flag, grouped by category.

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Motion

Receiving less knockback than expected or canceling it entirely.

Hitting entities from farther than possible in vanilla Minecraft.

✴️ Criticals

Consistently performing critical hits without jumping.
